Thank you for visiting my photo galleries! Introduction: My name is Al ("Buzz") Strott. I am a developing photographer residing in Portland, Oregon, where I developed a passion for digital photography over the past few years through the enjoyment of taking pictures for family and friends and to escape from my real job! I created this site, after encouragement from many of these friends and family members, to facilitate sharing photographs I've taken voluntarily for fun or personal development and to justify time away from my family for purchase requests. I consider myself at this time to be experienced in action photography and a student of all other photography. My quality is developing, so I've priced my photographs accordingly by comparison to other professionals and/or photographers much more competent than I! Thank you to all the wonderful people for their encouraging words and to other photographers far more experienced than I for so graciously sharing their learnings with me. My Objective: To share the results of my photography, earn enough to legitimize this as a justifiable business by tax law requirements, pay for this site, equipment and training and to facilitate fundraising for organizations I agree to support. NOTES: * Some galleries here are not released for purchases. This is generally the result of the gray legal area surrounding right to privacy laws. I generally will seek permission to sell photos of individuals before opening the site for sales if my learnings deem the event to be in this gray area. I will also use password protection for galleries with children (<14 years old) or upon request. For those sites not for sale, I hope you at least enjoy browsing through the photos for the viewing pleasure alone! * If you're interested in any special requests such as collages or events you would like me to do, please send me the request via the "Contact Photographer" link above with the details of your interest. I will work directly with you to agree on a reasonable terms.
